One-Pot Smokie Mac Camping Recipe

One-pot meals are a great way to keep dishes minimal and enjoy a home cooked meal around the picnic table or camp fire. This recipe requires very few ingredients and is best cooked with a steamer 3qt pot. If you do not have a steamer pot in your camping arsenal use a pot (with lid) you have and toss in a steamer basket to cook the broccoli.

For me, this meal brings back nostalgia from a childhood recipe my parents would make during a busy week. I ditched the pasta and homemade sauce for boxed mac & cheese to make it a camping friendly meal. I hope you enjoy this one-pot lit’l smokie, broccoli, mac & cheese recipe on your next camping trip!

Audrey Robertson
This is an easy one-pot camping meal to have dinner on the picnic table within an hour, while still getting in some protein, veggies, and carbs after a fun day outside. The one-pot makes for easy dishes before the sun goes down and it is time for s'mores.
